2011:
This former Mr. Swiss was morphed into a Dairy Queen at some point with a split-roof addition to the front of the building. The drive-in canopy was added later when the business became a "Jr. Varsity Root Beer" (hence, the "V" sign in the top photo). That lasted about ten years. After that, the building housed a pizzeria and then "Maria's Mexican". In 2006, the building was being fixed-up for another fast food operation. The "Old A Drive-in Diner" opened here around 2010. By 2015, the building housed Da' Red Wagon BBQ & More. It's possible that the "V" sign or its frame was flipped upside down and adapted for the "A" that is on the building now. [map]

This former Mr. Swiss housed Buffalo Burger when this photo was taken in 2010. The sign still used the original V-shaped pole and has similar Swiss-looking lettering. In 2014, Buffalo Burger closed. The building housed Brick House Smoked Meats after that. By 2021, the building was gone.
